Are you ready to take your Stop Motion skills to the next level? Sign up for one of our Advanced Stop Motion Animation Camps to learn all the best techniques and tricks to improve your animation!
Our Exploration themed Advanced Stop Motion Course is part of a 5 day Camp that will be held August 7th - 11th from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. in our South Jordan store with a LIVE instructor. If you are wondering if this camp is right for you check out the benefits listed below!
- Perfect for those who have taken our Beginner Stop Motion course, or who already have the basics in stop motion and want to excel further!
- Recommended for ages 10+.
- Participants are part of a class and therefore are learning and interacting with other students, and will also need a Smart Device (Smartphone, Tablet, etc.) to take pictures and videos to advance their knowledge of Stop Motion Movies and Videos. Also, if you happen to already have a tripod from our Beginner Course, please make sure to bring your tripod with you!
- All Advanced Stop Motion Animation Camps include an “Advanced Kit”, which will include: 2 baseplates, a lighting kit (2 lights with tripod stands), sticky tack, a small tub of bulk, and an assortment of specialty parts.
- Includes a 2-point lighting kit.
- Students will get to select and keep their very own LEGO® movie star by choosing to build their own Fig at our Minifig Maker Table or selecting a Case Fig within the Adventure theme up to a $6 value. This includes figs in the following categories: Princess, Castles, Lord of the Rings, and Ninjago.
- Students will use their smart device to learn how to craft their very own stories!
- Students will learn hands-on stop motion techniques for telling stories and bringing their LEGO® play to life! Each day has a new lesson and plenty of time to practice, practice, practice with help from an experienced instructor!
- Camps will end with a Film Festival that will allow all participants to show off what they have learned with family & friends!
